The U.S. Bankruptcy Court approved Aeropostale’s motion for an extension of the exclusive period during which the Company can file a plan and solicit acceptances thereof.
The order states, “Pursuant to section 1121(d) of the Bankruptcy Code, the Exclusive Filing Period is extended through and including May 1, 2017. Pursuant to section 1121(d) of the Bankruptcy Code, the Exclusive Solicitation Period is extended through and including June 30, 2017. The extensions of the Exclusive Periods granted herein are without prejudice to such further requests that may be made by the Debtors or any party in interest, for cause shown, upon notice and a hearing, if necessary. This Court shall retain jurisdiction to hear and determine all matters arising from or related to this Order.”
