The U.S. Bankruptcy Court approved Hampshire Group’s second motion to extend by 30 days the exclusive period during which the Company can file a Chapter 11 plan and solicit acceptances thereof through and including June 21, 2017 and August 21, 2017, respectively. The Debtors subsequently filed a third motion to extend the exclusive period during which the Company can file a Chapter 11 plan and solicit acceptances thereof through and including July 21, 2017 and September 20, 2017, respectively.
That motion explains, “The Debtors and the Committee anticipate seeking a combined hearing on the proposed plan and disclosure statement, likely in August 2017, subject to the Court’s availability and subject to entry of an order approving the proposed solicitation procedures and approving the disclosure statement on an interim basis. The 30-day extensions of the Exclusive Periods requested in this Motion will further the efforts to finalize and file the proposed joint chapter 11 plan, the related disclosure statement, and other related documents.”
The Court scheduled a July 11, 2017 hearing to consider the third extension motion, with objections due by July 3, 2017.
