According to recent press and people familiar with the matter, Destination Maternity Corporation hired adviser Berkeley Research Group to review options in the current weak retail environment. A Destination Maternity spokesperson said it hired Berkeley Research Group to improve its efficiency “in particular providing advice to us on how to optimize our expense structure.” In a recent press release, filed on August 10, 2017, Anthony M. Romano, C.E.O. & President, stated: “We are encouraged by the sequential improvement in our trend over the last three quarters as well as month to month improvement in trend throughout the second quarter….
