Constellation Enterprises’ Chapter 11 reorganization case has been converted to a liquidation under Chapter 7 in accordance with the September 27, 2017 order approving the Company’s conversion motion.
As previously reported, “The Debtors’ chapter 11 cases shall be converted…to cases under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code, effective on October 2, 2017 at 5pm. (the ‘Conversion Date’)….The U.S. Trustee is hereby directed to appoint a chapter 7 trustee to oversee the Debtor’s chapter 7 bankruptcy cases.”
The U.S. Trustee assigned to the case appointed David W. Carickhoff as interim Chapter 7 trustee. This metal components’ manufacturer filed for Chapter 11 protection on May 16, 2016, listing $196 million in pre-petition assets.
