SunEdison filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court a notice of extension of the rights offering expiration date until November 7, 2017.
The notice explains, “Pursuant to Section B.1 of the Amended Rights Offering Procedures, the Debtors may extend the Rights Offering Expiration Date by notice provided to Eligible Holders no later than 4:00 p.m. (prevailing Eastern Time) two (2) Business Days immediately prior to the then effective Rights Offering Expiration Date. On September 26, 2017, the Debtors filed a Notice of Extension of Rights Offering Expiration Date [Docket No. 4059] extending the Rights Offering Expiration Date to 4:00 p.m. (prevailing Eastern Time) on Friday, October 13, 2017.”
In addition, “On October 10, 2017, the Debtors filed a Notice of Extension of Rights Offering Expiration Date [Docket No. 4119] extending the Rights Offering Expiration Date to 4:00 p.m. (prevailing Eastern Time) on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.Without prejudice to the Debtors’ right to further extend the Rights Offering Expiration Date, from time to time, with the reasonable consent of the Requisite Purchasers, the Debtors hereby further extend the Rights Offering Expiration Date to 4:00 p.m. (prevailing Eastern Time) on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.”
