Privately-held Appalachian Lighting Systems (a/k/a ALLED) filed for Chapter 11 protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Western District of Pennsylvania, case number 17-24454. The Company is represented by Robert O. Lampl, Attorney at Law. ALLED is an American LED lighting manufacturer with headquarters located in Ellwood City, PA. The Company focuses on and manufactures commercial and industrial lighting.

ALLED was established in March 2007 by its president and chief science officer: James Wassel. The Company lists estimated assets and liabilities both between $1 million and $10 million.

According to the Chapter 11 petition, “Funds will be available for distribution to unsecured creditors.” Documents filed with the Court indicate that, pursuant to Local Rule 1017-2, the U.S. Trustee assigned to the case “is deemed to have a Motion to Dismiss this case.” The docket asserts that this dismissal motion will be approved in the event that any deadline is not met.
