SunEdison announced that John S. Dubel has been appointed chief restructuring officer of the Company. Dubel will report directly to the independent directors of SunEdison’s board and lead the Company’s restructuring efforts. He will have sole authority and discretion on behalf of the management of the Company with respect to all matters in connection with the Company’s restructuring initiatives. Dubel is the C.E.O. of Dubel & Associates, which he founded in 1999.
He has over 30 years of experience in board representation, turnaround management, crisis management, operational restructurings and divestments in the distressed space and is a past board member and officer of the Association of Insolvency and Reorganization Advisors, a Certified Insolvency and Reorganization Advisor and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Dubel received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary.
