October 2, 2018 – The Relay Company (f/k/a The Rockport Company) filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court a monthly operating report for August 2018 [Docket No. 530]. For the month, the the consolidated Debtors (which excludes Rockport Canada ULC) reported a loss from operations of $67.8 million and a net loss of $67.8 million on $82.0 million in net sales. For the period, cost of sales was $93.8 million and selling, general & administrative expenses for the month were $56.0 million The consolidated Debtors further reported $137.9 million in cash receipts and $85.8 million in cash disbursements. Cash at the beginning and end of the month was $9.1 million and $61.2 million, respectively, with a net cash flow of $52.1 million.
