November 13, 2018 – Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of Dan River Holdings, LLC, et al., Bankruptcy Estates in November 2018. On April 20, 2008, Dan River and its affiliates each filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, jointly administered under Case No. 08-10726. Thereafter, the case was converted to chapter 7 and a trustee was appointed to liquidate the remaining assets of the estates.

Founded in 1909, Dan River was a designer, manufacturer, and marketer of home fashions and apparel fabrics products. The company was the leading producer of lightweight yarn-dyed fabrics in the United States.

The former headquarters of Dan River was located in Danville, VA. The company also had a corporate address in Macon, GA.
