September 24, 2019 – Burr & Forman announced the addition of associate Russell Heller to the firm’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Practice Group where he will work on bankruptcy and restructuring engagements.
Rick Robinson, managing partner of the firm’s Wilmington office, commented: “Adding Russell to our team is a key step in the continuing growth of our bankruptcy and restructuring practice in Delaware, which further strengthens our capability to service clients in Delaware, the Southeast and the rest of the country.”
Mr Heller has expertise representing creditors and corporate debtors in out-of-court restructuring and bankruptcy matters, including representing corporate debtors, unsecured creditors’ committees, and secured and unsecured lender groups in complex Chapter 11. Before starting his career in private practice, he clerked consecutively for the Hon. Kevin J. Carey and the Hon. Laurie Selber Silverstein of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Heller is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York, received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his law degree from Cornell Law School.
