October 17, 2019 – FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN, “FTI Consulting”) has named Jerome Davis and Daniel O’Brien as New Managing Directors at its Turnaround & Restructuring practice which operates as part of FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment. Mr. Davis and Mr. O’Brien will be based in New York.
The appointments of Mr. Davis and Mr. O’Brien are the most recent additions of senior talent to the consulting group's Turnaround & Restructuring practice. Earlier this year, FTI Consulting appointed Tensie Axton and Tom Powell as Senior Managing Directors, while Don Harer and Chris Pizzo joined as Managing Directors.
In a press release announcing the appointments, the company stated, “Mr. Davis and Mr. O’Brien further enhance FTI Consulting’s strength in company-side restructuring advisory services in both in- and out-of-court situations. Mr. Davis brings more than 15 years of experience advising companies and providing interim management services. Mr. O’Brien brings more than 30 years of experience in business recovery and insolvency services, dispute consulting, litigation support, and strategic appraisal and policy advice.”

His broad skillset and industry expertise provide clients confidence and leadership in complex in- and out-of-court workouts. Mr. Davis is a trusted advisor to companies, lenders, creditors, corporate boards and equity holders, and has deep experience in crisis management, interim management, financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and valuation.
Mr. O’Brien provides restructuring services to corporate debtors, in addition to lenders, federal and municipal governments, secured and unsecured creditors, equity holders and court-appointed officers in the U.S. and globally. He has experience providing interim management and financial advisory services, financial projections, debtor-in-possession financing budgeting and monitoring, liquidation analyses, waterfall analyses, working capital management reviews, plans of reorganization, disclosure statement development and bankruptcy administration. Mr. O’Brien has particular industry expertise in retail, consumer products and healthcare. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner in the U.S."
