The U.S. Bankruptcy Court issued an order approving the $4.3 million sale of substantially all of Perseon’s assets to stalking horse bidder MedLink Technologies.
The order states, “The Ex Parte Motion of Debtor for Authority to Change Name and to Change Case Caption in Connection with Closing of Sale of Assets is granted. The Debtor is authorized to take action to change its name with the Delaware Division of Corporations and the caption in this case shall be changed to ‘In re BSD Medical Corporation fka Perseon Corporation’ upon the closing of the Sale to Buyer and the Debtor filing a notice of the consummation of the Sale, subject to further Order of this Court, after notice and a hearing. The State of Delaware is permitted to change the name of the Debtor to BSD Medical Corporation.”
