Texas Taxing Authorities and certain Texas Taxing Entities filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court separate objections to C&J Energy Services to obtain post-petition secured financing, (ii) granting liens and providing superpriority administrative expense claims, (iii) authorizing the use of cash collateral, (iv) granting adequate protection, (v) modifying the automatic stay, and (vi) scheduling a final hearing.
Texas Taxing Authorities explains, “The Texas Taxing Authorities specifically object to the Motion to the extent that it purports to prime the superior lien position of the Texas Taxing Authorities prior to providing the Texas Taxing Authorities with full and complete adequate protection. The Texas Taxing Authorities do not consent to the imposition of liens which would prime their pre-petition liens.”
