4Licensing (f/k/a 4Kids Entertainment) and 60 affiliated Debtors filed for Chapter 11 protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Oklahoma, lead case number 16-11714.
The Company, which licenses sports and specialty brands, is represented by Neal Tomlins of Tomlins & Peters. The U.S. Trustee assigned to the case scheduled an October 19, 2016 341-Meeting of Creditors. 4Kids Entertainment emerged from a previous Chapter 11 filing in December 2012. According to a corporate release, “The plan of reorganization has not yet been finalized, but management does not currently anticipate any recovery for shareholders.”
