Samson Resources filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court a stipulation between the Company and the United States Department of the Interior (DOI) regarding certain federal and tribal leases.
The stipulation explains, “There are no known monetary defaults under any of the Federal and Tribal Leases; provided that Debtors remit $9,739.89 to DOI within five (5) business days upon entry of this Stipulation. The Parties have worked cooperatively and in good faith in connection with a compliance review conducted by DOI to identify any unpaid royalties or other amounts due under the Federal and Tribal Leases. The Parties agree and stipulate that the unaudited accounts maintained by both Parties indicate that there is less than approximately $213,460.59, if any, of unpaid royalties or other amounts due under the Federal and Tribal Leases.”
